ESKIMO LEAD MANAGEMENT WEBSITE PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY
1. INTRODUCTION

We at Eskimo Software respect your right to privacy and comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 (the “Acts”). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to outline how we deal with any Personal Data (as such term is defined in the Acts) you provide to us while visiting this website (the “Site”). Naturally, if you are not happy with this Privacy Policy you should not use this Site. Any external links to other websites are clearly identifiable as such, and we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of these other websites.

2. TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

We collect and retain two types of information on the Site:

2.1 PERSONAL DATA

This is data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number (mobile and landline), and any information about you that is directly linked to Personal Data. Personal Data is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us or if it is collected as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. For example, when you register for the Site as a user, you provide your username (which may include Personal Data), your email address and, on some occasions, information for needed for payment e.g. your credit card details.

2.2 NON-PERSONAL DATA

Like most websites, we gather statistical and other analytical information collected on an aggregate basis of all visitors to our Site (“Non-Personal Data”). This Non-Personal Data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic information regarding, for example, user IP addresses where they have been clipped or anonymised, browser types and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our Site.

4. PURPOSES FOR WHICH WE HOLD YOUR INFORMATION
4.1 NON-PERSONAL DATA

We use the Non-Personal Data gathered from visitors to our Site in an aggregate form to get a better understanding of where our visitors come from and to help us better design and organise our Site.

4.2 PERSONAL DATA
  • Any users’ or customers’ personal data stored on Eskimo’s servers will be used for the sole purpose of the application and will never be shared or distributed to a third party. This data is stored on secure servers in the EU compliant with GDPR guidelines and every measure has been taken to ensure it’s safety.

We reserve the right to disclose or transfer information (including your Personal Data) to a third party in the event of, or in connection with the negotiations of, a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of our company provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of the Privacy Policy and provided that the third party only uses your Personal Data for the purposes that you provided it to us or as otherwise authorized in this Privacy Policy. You will be notified in the event of any such transfer and you will be afforded an opportunity to opt-out.

7. SECURITY

Your Personal Data is held on secure servers hosted by Microsoft Azure. The nature of the Internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, we will take all reasonable steps (including appropriate technical and organisational measures) to protect your Personal Data.

8. UPDATING, VERIFYING AND DELETING PERSONAL DATA

You may inform us of any changes in your Personal Data, and in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 or other applicable law we will update or delete your Personal Data accordingly. To find out what Personal Data we hold on you or to have your Personal Data updated, amended or removed from our database, please email it to us at [email protected]. Any such data subject requests may be subject to the prescribed fee.

9. TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA

It may be necessary, from time to time, for your Personal Data to be transferred to someone who provides a service to us in other countries, including countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). In addition your Personal Data may need to be stored in servers located outside the EEA. By submitting your Personal Data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing such Personal Data outside the EEA. If we do this, we will endeavour to ensure that anyone to whom we pass your Personal Data agrees to treat your Personal Data with the same level of protection as if we were dealing with it.

10. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this Site so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
